Privacy Policy
This policy explains how TheNoCompany LLC ("we", "us") handles information when you use our websites and applications.
The short version
Our apps are players and tools. We collect as little as possible, we do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising. You connect our apps to services and accounts that you provide; we are not party to those services.
What we collect
Information you provide. When you email support, we receive your message and address so we can reply.
Server/connection details you enter. Credentials and addresses you type into an app are stored on your device for the app to function. We do not transmit them to us.
Diagnostics. With your consent where required, we may collect anonymized crash and performance data to fix problems. This contains no content you view and no account credentials.
Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive your payment-card details; those platforms handle billing under their own privacy policies.
Legal basis (EU/EEA)
Where the GDPR applies, we process data on these bases: performance of a contract (providing the app and answering support), our legitimate interest in keeping the apps secure and fixing crashes, and your consent where it is required (e.g. optional diagnostics).
Service providers (sub-processors)
We rely on a few processors who act only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and security for our websites.
- GitHub Pages — static hosting for this website.
- Google / Firebase — anonymized crash & stability diagnostics in our Android app.
- Apple & Google — app distribution and, where applicable, in-app purchase billing.
International transfers
TheNoCompany LLC is based in the United States, and some providers process data in the US. Where we transfer personal data from the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or a provider's adequacy framework.
Retention
We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterward. Diagnostic data is kept in aggregated or short-lived form. Data you store on your device stays on your device until you remove it.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, request a copy, or request deletion. Email [email protected] from the address tied to your request and we will respond within applicable timeframes.
Children
Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; we will revise the date above when we do.
